The word money here means all sorts of wealth because money can buy them. All of us need wealth for a happy and prosperous life in this world. One cannot eat good food, live in a comfortable house, enjoy beautiful things and do anything whatsoever if he does not have wealth or money. One is not born with money in his hands. In order to earn money one has to work regularly and punctually without abusing or wasting his time. Once time is wasted or lost it is not restored again. Hence, one has to make the best use of his time so that he is able to earn money and be happy. If one wastes his time by being idle, gossiping or doing nothing he will not be in a position to earn money. His life will be unhappy and difficult. Hence, time is money. 

Destiny of a person is not predictable and we never know that when a good opportunity comes to us, it just depends on us how we use time. A single moment is enough to be the reason of getting heights of success or a big fall down in life. Thus we should always prepare for grabbing the opportunity which comes to us at any stage of life. Time is precious and never waits for anyone. Once it goes, never be back. It always runs only in forward direction and not in backward direction. Everything in this world depends on time. If we have not time, we have nothing. Loss of time is considered as the worst thing on this earth because wasting time, wastes us and our future. We never acquire lost time again. If we have lost our time, we have lost everything. 

In every field time has its own importance. If a farmer had not sown the seeds in proper season he would not get the paddy as thought. Similarly, a student who makes good use of his time will have no difficulty in passing an exam. One who has wasted his time and not studied will not be able to pass in spite of being clever. In an office, a worker who makes full use of his time to do good work will be much appreciated and will receive promotions. Idle employees, who just waste time, will receive no promotions. They cannot come up in life. So our success or failure depends on the right use of time.

In the same way, the most important resource for a business is not money rather it is time. Time is the most precious resource which if invested and utilized properly, then the money will flow, as if by magic. The problem is that most entrepreneurs undervalue importance of time management. They think that good business depends on innovative and creative ideas. But it is not enough. Unless these ideas are executed in proper time it wouldn’t work and will fail to earn revenue. Hence time should be properly utilized to earn profit. 

People have become famous and rich by making good use of time. They work hard and make a lot of money. They know how to make good use of their time. 

However there are some people who value their money more than the time but it is true that nothing is as valuable as time. It is time which gives us money; prosperity and happiness however nothing in this world can give time. Time can only be used but cannot be bought or sold. Everyone gets equal time, it just depends on person whether he/she use it for profit or just waste it due to irresponsible behavior. Still there are many people who live their life in useless way. They enjoy their time by only eating, playing or other lazy activities with their friends. In this way they spend days and years. They never think that what they are doing, in what ways they are living their time, etc. Even they never regret their ways of time wasting and never become sorry. Indirectly they have lost their lots of cash and most importantly the time which they never get back. Hence we should learn from the mistakes of others as well as should inspire from the success of others. We should use our time in doing some useful works so that time may bless us, not destroy.

Time has so much power that it can change a human’s life completely. It can convert a successful or powerful rich person into helpless poor man and a poor man into a rich person. It only depends on us whether we understand the value of time or take it for granted. 

The best way of understanding the importance and value of time is that, when we lose money we can get it back by using time but if time is lost we cannot get it back by using money or any other thing. 

Famous story of Ant and Grasshopper is a good example of this phrase “Time is Money”.  In this story, an ant spent it’s all time of summer season in collecting food for the season of winter and grasshopper was happy with the food that he had for that time only. When winter came ant had plenty of food in storage as she was much aware about the importance of time. Whereas grasshopper had nothing to eat in winter season as he was happy in relaxing and wasting his time. Thus, we all should be like an ant in order to face different circumstances in life.

Above story is just an example but has an important essence of life. By using our precious time no one can defeat us at any stage of life. Neither we can buy it nor do we can sale it. We just can use it every single moment to improve our own quality of life and also to contribute in the betterment of society and nation.
